This Privacy Policy explains how TechTrade Solutions (“TechTrade,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our website at techtradesolutions.com (the “Site”) and the IT asset disposition (ITAD), secure data destruction, hardware brokerage, and logistics services we provide to customers nationwide and worldwide.

“Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked to an individual. By accessing the Site or engaging our services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.

Information you provide directly

• Inquiry and quote forms — when you submit our contact inquiry or quote request forms, we collect your name, work email, phone number, company name, asset location, estimated asset volume, and the contents of your message (including hardware and equipment details).
• Business communications — emails, phone calls, and messages you exchange with our team regarding quotes, orders, logistics, or support.
• Transaction data — asset lists, condition reports, pricing, invoices, and payment details provided in connection with our services.

Information collected automatically

• Log and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected through standard server and hosting logs.
• Cookies and similar technologies — as described in Section 06.
• Google Fonts — the Site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), which may receive your IP address when the fonts load in your browser.

We use personal information for the following purposes:

• to respond to your inquiries and provide quotes, estimates, and valuations;
• to deliver and manage our ITAD, data destruction, brokerage, and logistics services;
• to process transactions, payments, and purchase orders;
• to communicate project updates, certificates of data destruction, and reports;
• to operate, secure, and improve our Site and services;
• to send marketing communications, only where you have consented or where permitted by law, and always with a simple way to opt out; and
• to comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations and to protect our rights and the safety of our customers and employees.

For individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal information on the following legal bases:

• Consent — where you have given clear consent, for example for marketing communications or non-essential cookies.
• Contract — where processing is necessary to perform a contract with you, such as delivering a service or processing a transaction.
• Legitimate interests — where the processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as operating and securing our Site, improving our services, and preventing fraud, provided your rights and interests do not override them.
• Legal obligation — where we must process personal information to comply with applicable law.

For individuals located in the United States, we process personal information in accordance with applicable U.S. privacy laws, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), as described in Sections 09 and 10.

We do not sell personal information, and we share it only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers — hosting providers (including Netlify), email and communications tools, payment processors, logistics carriers, and data-destruction partners that help us operate our business, all of whom are bound by contract to protect the information.
• Brokerage counterparties — buyers and sellers, to the extent necessary to evaluate, negotiate, or complete a hardware transaction you have asked us to arrange. We share only the business contact and asset information needed for the transaction.
• Legal and regulatory authorities — when required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, the safety of any person, or to enforce our agreements.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site functioning and to understand how visitors use it. The Site is built on the Astro framework and hosted on the Netlify platform, which may set essential cookies or use ephemeral session data.

Categories we use or may use:

• Essential cookies — required for the Site and its forms to function correctly. These cannot be turned off.
• Analytics cookies — used to understand aggregate usage so we can improve the Site. If enabled, they collect anonymized information only.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. With the exception of essential cookies, disabling cookies may affect how the Site performs for you.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide our services, maintain business and tax records, satisfy legal or reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Records required by law — including transaction records, invoices, and certificates of data destruction — are retained for the period required by applicable law. Where we have no ongoing legitimate business need to retain your personal information, we will securely delete or anonymize it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of the personal information we hold about you, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may not be able to fulfill requests that would compromise our ability to comply with legal obligations.

If you are a resident of Texas, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) provides you with the following rights, subject to applicable exceptions:

• Right to access — to confirm whether we are processing your personal data and to access that data.
• Right to correct — to correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
• Right to delete — to delete personal data we hold about you.
• Right to obtain a copy — to obtain a portable copy of the personal data you provided to us.
• Right to opt out — to opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not currently engage in these activities.

To exercise these rights, follow the process in Section 08. If we decline your request, you may appeal the decision, and if the appeal is unsuccessful, you may contact the Office of the Attorney General of Texas.

If you are a resident of California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provides you with the following rights:

• Right to know — to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and the purposes for which it was collected.
• Right to delete — to request deletion of personal information we have collected about you, subject to statutory exceptions.
• Right to correct — to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of sale or share — we do not sell or share personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve (12) months.
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
• Authorized agents — you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals at this time because no industry-wide standard has yet been adopted. Under California Civil Code § 1798.83, California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes; we do not make such disclosures.

TechTrade provides services to customers in the United States and, where commercially feasible, worldwide. Personal information we collect may be processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where we or our service providers operate.

Where we transfer personal information from the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to countries not recognized as providing adequate protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses, to protect your information.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include restricted access, secure transmission, and role-based controls over sensitive records such as certificates of data destruction.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security, and you are responsible for safeguarding any credentials or materials you transmit to us.

The Site and our services are directed to business customers and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us atsales@techtradesolutions.com and we will delete the information promptly.

The Site may contain links to websites operated by third parties, including our affiliated companies Cloud Ninjas, Cloud Cowboys, and GPU ITAD. This Policy does not apply to those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business, or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the Policy was last revised.

If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where practical, provide notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
